Quality questions
Companies are faced with several questions concerning data quality of contact data. The first one is often how many customers or vendors do I really have? What are the exact, real amounts currently? Some companies do not have any idea about the amount of customers or vendors. Second, what is the quality of my address information. How does it work?
TS Customer Monitor detects added or changed contact information from the operational systems.
The contact information is standardized, cleansed, matched and stored in the internal TS-Monitor repository. Statistics are maintained. Information about the contact quality is graphically represented in an easy and understandable way. Authorized users can drill-down to the available detail information.
When implementing TS Customer Monitor the first step is to connect TS Customer Monitor to the operational system and define the fields which contain customer information. The second step is to start the data quality process. TS Customer Monitor then reads all customer information and stores all processed information in its repository. This includes the original information as well as all cleansed information. Now all information is available for review and evaluation. The last step is the continuous monitoring of contact information. TS-Monitor is constantly scanning the source systems to detect changed or added information and processes and maintains this information in its repository. By doing this a current view is automatically maintained without any user effort or any effort of extracting and loading files.
